Hi! Nice to meet you. I’m Heidi Sparks, the founder of Sparks Refillery.
For as long as I can remember, Sparks Refillery has held a special place in my heart. I’ve always been conscious of the amount of plastic waste we generate as a family, with our recycling bin overflowing every week while the trash can is barely full. It’s frustrating to know that most plastics can only be recycled once, and even then, they often end up in landfills.
The issue of single-use plastics is a pressing one, especially when it comes to everyday items like personal care and household cleaning products. When we use these products, the containers they come in often end up polluting our oceans and filling up our landfills. Throughout my career, which has spanned various industries including corporate offices, manufacturing, and the beauty industry, I’ve seen firsthand the amount of waste that is produced on a daily basis. As the current owner of a facial spa in San Diego, I used to have a lot of single-use plastic bottles and containers, which customers would repeatedly purchase, leading to even more waste. But I knew I had to make a change.
That’s why I launched a line of professional refillable skincare products that cater to different skin types. As a licensed esthetician and certified skincare product formulator, I recognized the need for safe, non-toxic, and eco-friendly products. Aesthetically pleasing packaging is often more wasteful than practical, and it is time to change that. Plastic never truly disappears; it breaks down into microplastics that harm our health. With our skin absorbing 60% of what we put on it, we absorb all the toxic ingredients, including microplastics, daily!
To add to the solution, I have formulated eco-friendly, refillable household cleaning products that are effective and reliable. By choosing my products, you can make a difference in reducing your carbon footprint and protecting the environment. The quality and effectiveness of my products are unmatched, and I assure you that you won’t be disappointed.Let’s do our best to make the world better, one refillable bottle at a time.
Thanks for taking the time to read my passion and support my mission to start Sparks Refillery.
Cheers!
Heidi
Hey! I’m Sierra Sparks, and I’m thrilled to be part of a movement focused on preserving a clean environment for generations to come.
As someone who loves the ocean and it’s sea creatures, I strongly urge the importance of taking care of our planet.
And hey, as someone who’s also passionate about hair products, I believe that taking care of ourselves shouldn’t come at the expense of harming our planet. It’s up to us to make mindful choices that benefit us and our surroundings. Let’s work together to ensure that we leave a healthy and sustainable environment for future generations to enjoy!
Also, Side note: My favorite hair products are “Ocean Blossom” by Sparks Refilley. They’re amazing! Made with sea moss and gentle ingredients, they leave your hair feeling clean, hydrated, and fabulous. The hair serum is so silky, making my hair feel soft and with a soothing smell of sweet tea. You should give them a try!
